West Georgia Rheumatology, an affiliate with Carrollton Orthopaedic Clinic, is a practice encompassing the full spectrum of Rheumatology. Rheumatology deals with clinical problems involving joints, soft tissues and allied conditions of connective tissues. It includes vasculitis, all types of connective tissue disease, juvenile and adult rheumatoid arthritis, fibromylagia, and musculo-skeletal disorders among other rheumatological disorders.

Rheumatology is a developing field of medicine. Major rheumatological disorders are now described as autoimmune disorders. Some of the newest developments have to do with laboratory analysis and therapy. Antibodies in the marketplace are used to “fine tune” the diagnoses of certain disease. There are molecular therapies and new biological treatments.

Dr. Indu Palasani accepts new patients and works closely with all referring physicians. Patients can expect a thorough and comprehensive exam and evaluation on their initial office visit.
