Dr. Watts is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. He served his internship and orthopaedic residency at the Medical College of Georgia.

Dr. Watts joined the Carrollton Orthopaedic Clinic in 1979, immediately after his residency. A native of Bowdon, Georgia., Dr. Watts has been an integral part of the reputation and growth of the practice due to excellent care of patients in the West Georgia area.

Dr. Watts is revered by many former patients as an excellent physician in general orthopaedics. Dr. Watts is a major advocate for joint replacements due to the marked improvement in the patients’ quality of life.

Dr. Watts is a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Association of Georgia, Phi Beta Kappa, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society.

Medicine runs in the family of the Watts' household.  Both Dr. Watts' father and grandfather were physicians.  In addition, 2 of Dr. Watts' grown children are physicians.

Dr. Watts and his wife Nancy have 5 grown children and 7 grandchildren.
